£25.00

Description:

The exhibition "In Spain. Photography, Commissions, Territories, 1983-2009" presents several photographic projects about cities and territories and their processes of transformation, with 1992 as a central moment. This exhibition and the accompanying book reflect, for the first time, the main experiences in Spain resulting from the use of photography as an instrument for observing and representing territories and their changes. Organized around three periods (the 1980s, the major urban transformations related to the events of 1992, and the first decade of the 21st century), it presents the work of almost seventy photographers alongside the publications produced in connection with the eleven selected surveys.

Features work by Patrick Faigenbaum, Gilbert Fastenaekens, Larry Fink, Bárbara Fluxá, Joan Fontcuberta, Ferran Freixa, Cristina García Rodero, David Goldblatt, Ignacio González, Pedro G. Romero, Paul Graham, José Guerrero, Jordi Guillumet, Federico Guzmán, Guy Hersant, Candida Höfer, Paul den Hollander, Graciela Iturbide, Valérie Jouve, Les Krims, Manolo Laguillo, Xurxo Lobato, Eva Lootz, Rogelio López Cuenca, Óscar Molina, Pepe Morón, Ana Muller, Rafael Navarro, Paulo Nozolino, Marc Pataut, Eladio Ramos, Tonia Raquejo y Luis Ortega, Paul Reas, Xavier Ribas, Humberto Rivas, Andrea Robbins y Max Becher, Rafael Rodríguez Román, Sebastião Salgado, Marco Saroldi,Allan Sekula, Mireia Sentis, Ahlam Shibli, Alejandro Sosa, Manel Úbeda, John Vink
