The exhibition "In Spain. Photography, Commissions, Territories, 1983-2009" presents several photographic projects about cities and territories and their processes of transformation, with 1992 as a central moment. This exhibition and the accompanying book reflect, for the first time, the main experiences in Spain resulting from the use of photography as an instrument for observing and representing territories and their changes. Organized around three periods (the 1980s, the major urban transformations related to the events of 1992, and the first decade of the 21st century), it presents the work of almost seventy photographers alongside the publications produced in connection with the eleven selected surveys.
